    Welcome to Hidden Paradise in the Valley! By booking with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully to ensure a pleasant and safe experience.

    • "Guest," "you," "your" – Refers to the person or party booking and staying at our holiday house.
    • "Booking" – Refers to the reservation made by you for the stay at our property.
    • "Property" – Refers to Hidden Paradise in the Valley, located at 7 Toscana Way, Hidden Valley, VIC 3756.
    • "Platform" – Refers to the online booking platform (including Airbnb or any other third-party booking service) used to make the reservation.

    1. About These Terms

    When you complete your Booking, you accept these Terms and any other terms that you are provided with during the booking process.

    If there is any dispute or mismatch between the Terms in different languages, the English version will take precedence.

    2. Our Platform

    We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property and services available. However, information can occasionally be inaccurate due to human error or third-party service provider input. We cannot be held responsible for any errors, interruptions, or missing information, but we will endeavor to fix any issues as soon as possible.

    You may see offers or prices in different languages or currencies depending on your location, and you are free to change the language on our Platform.

    3. Prices

    By making a Booking, you agree to pay the total cost of your stay, which includes applicable taxes and any additional charges.

    Prices listed may be rounded to the nearest whole number, but the actual charge will be based on the exact original price.

    4. Booking and Payment

    • Bookings are confirmed once payment is made and you receive a confirmation email.
    • We require a full payment at the time of booking, unless stated otherwise.
    • Payments can be made via the third-party booking platform, such as Airbnb, or directly through our preferred payment methods.
    • Additional charges may apply for any extra services requested during your stay (e.g., cleaning services, late checkout, etc.).

    5. Cancellation and Refunds

    • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are not allowed on our platform. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us directly, and we will do our best to assist you. However, we cannot guarantee a refund.
    • Third-Party Bookings: If you booked through a third-party platform (e.g., Airbnb), please refer to their specific cancellation policy for details regarding refunds and cancellations.
    • No-Show Policy: If you fail to check in on the scheduled date without prior notice, the full booking amount is non-refundable.

    6. House Rules

    By staying at Hidden Paradise, you agree to follow the house rules, which include but are not limited to:

    • Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Any changes must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.
    • Late Check-Out: Any delays beyond the designated check-out time will result in a cascade of delays for cleaning and the subsequent reservation.
    • Late Fees: Fees for any delay will be charged at $500 AUD per hour. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy to ensure a smooth transition for all guests.
    • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. There are outdoor designated smoking areas.
    • Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the house but may stay outside in designated areas.
    • Noise: Please be mindful of noise levels after 10:00 PM to respect other guests and neighbors.

    Failure to follow these house rules may result in penalties, including but not limited to extra cleaning fees or eviction without refund.

    7. Use of the Property

    • The Property is intended for residential use only. You agree not to engage in any illegal or inappropriate activities during your stay.
    • You are responsible for any damage to the property or furnishings during your stay. In the case of damages, repair or replacement costs will be charged to your credit card on file.
    • Parties, events, or large gatherings are not allowed unless you receive prior approval from management.

    8. Security Deposit

    A security deposit may be required for your stay. This deposit will be refunded after check-out, provided there is no damage to the property or violation of house rules.

    9. Additional Services

    We offer a range of additional services such as:

    • Cleaning Services: Mid-stay cleaning services can be arranged for an extra fee.
    • Late Check-out: Upon request and availability, we may offer a late check-out option, subject to an additional fee.

    10. Privacy and Data Protection

    We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information collected during the booking process or your stay will be used solely for the purposes of managing your booking and enhancing your experience.

    • Data Collection: We collect information such as your name, contact details, and payment information during the booking process.
    • Use of Information: Your personal data is used for booking management, communication, and, where applicable, marketing promotions (with your consent).
    • Data Retention: We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill legal obligations and provide services.
    • Third-party Sharing: We may share your data with third-party booking platforms or service providers to ensure a smooth experience but will not share it for other purposes without your explicit consent.

    11. Emergencies

    • Fire Safety: Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors are installed throughout the property for your safety. Please familiarize yourself with their locations upon arrival.

    12. Liability

    • Hidden Paradise in the Valley will not be held responsible for any injuries, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings during their stay, to the extent permitted by law.
    • By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the risks associated with staying in a rural property and take full responsibility for your actions.

    13. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website, and we will notify you of any significant changes.

    14. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.
